Colombian film director, screenwriter and producer of 47 years, based 20 years ago in the region of Santander and since 2016 with his family in Zapatoca, where he came to look for a location, its lush beauty and tranquility captivated him and inspired his second feature film THE MATRIARCH which began its journey in the EFM markets of the Berlinales and MDF of Cannes 2023 and had its theatrical release in Colombia in 2023 and cinemas in Spain in April 2024.

About:
Matthew Keisoglu is an award-winning filmmaker who specialises in avant-garde, experimental, and horror cinema.
He is currently pursuing a Master of Arts degree, having previously earned a bachelor’s and Honours Degree in Film and Television from Deakin University. As an artist, Matthew incorporates his Armenian heritage into his work, blending unique socio-cultural concepts with supernatural themes to create truly original pieces.
Matthew's films have been screened in numerous cities around the world, including Istanbul, Florida, New York, Los Angeles, and London, as well as being featured in countless online film festivals.
He has been interviewed by various media outlets, including SBS Armenian, the Student World Impact Film Festival's Film Sessions podcast, 3CR Community Radio, and AGBU Melbourne.
Matthew serves as the Festival Director of the Mental Health Foundation Australia’s Multicultural Mental Health Film Festival, as well as the director of the Foundation’s monthly talk show, the Goody Show.

Areliz Benel is a Peruvian actress known for her participation in the series “Al Fondo hay Sitio” in which she was one of the main characters for over 5 years. She also was part of the reality show “el gran show”, based on the show “Dancing with the Stars”. She took home 5th place. She also was a main character in web series “no aguanto a mis hermanas”. Her character, Lina, was ethnically ambiguous with a neutral accent. This show was streamed to all of Latin America. Areliz currently resides in Mexico City where she recently portrayed “Chola” in the “Secreto de Selena”. She is also a graduate of La escuela nacional superior de arte dramatico (ENSAD) where she graduated as a profesional actress after five years studing drama and has participated in many actors workshops. She star in the period musical movie known as “El Plebeyo” and the Hollywood Movie Lotería .
