For the first time in the history of cinema, intellectual property rights of the feature film, “1st Born” through blockchain technology is being put up for auction and 5% of the profit earned from this auction will be allocated for providing COVID vaccines in Iran.

American Brightlight Film Productions will put up for auction the intellectual property rights of “1st Born”, directed by Ali Atshani, through blockchain technology for the first time in the history of cinema.

This auction has begun since August 20, 2021 in “opensea.io” as NFT (Non-fungible token) and continues for one week.

Winners of this auction will receive three physical copies of this movie with the cast signatures besides the intellectual property rights.

5% of the final amount of the auction will be allocated for providing COVID vaccines in Iran.

“1st Born”, directed by Ali Atshani, was produced by American Brightlight Film Productions and is the first co-production between Hollywood and Iran.

Significant and well-known Hollywood actors including Val Kilmer, Robert Knepper, Tom Berenger, Taylor Cole, Denise Richards, Dominique Swain, Greg Grunberg, William Baldwin, Ken Davitian, Jay Abdo, Steve Wilder and Kian Kavousi has played in this American-Iranian feature film. “1st Born” has a comic view towards US-Iran political relations in a family and is about a newlywed couple, Iran-born Ben and his American wife, Kate who are living in California. When there’s a complication with Kate’s first pregnancy, both Ben’s and Kate’s families must come together, a rather complicated notion as Ben’s father, Hamid, is an anti-American Iranian politician, while Kate’s father, Biden (played by Kilmer), is an American politician who takes a hardline stance against Iran.
