The movie “Loteria”, directed by Ali Atshani, will be screened in the competition section of the 29th Annual Twin Rivers Media Festival.

American Brightlight Film Productions reports that the movie “Loteria”, directed by Ali Atshani and produced by Mahdi Moniri, Rana Nabavi, Hamed Feizidizaji, Sadra Doroudian Homayouni, Kasra Doroudian Homayouni and Edwin Avaness, which was filmed in Mexico last year, will participate in the competition section of the 29th Annual Twin Rivers Media Festival.

This movie has recently been nominated for the Remi Award at the 56th edition of the WorldFest-Houston International Film Festival, in which prominent filmmakers such as Steven Spielberg, George Lucas, Ang Lee, the Coen brothers, Ridley Scott, John Lee Hancock, Brian De Palma, Randal Kleiser, Oliver Stone, and David Lynch won the Remi Award in the feature film category in previous editions.

This festival has started screening selected movies from today (June 17) and the closing ceremony will be held on July 1 in North Carolina.

The script of “Loteria” is based on a true story written by Ali Atshani and Mahmoudreza Sani.
